Basketball

Around the time I came to Canada at age 12, I became seriously obsessed with the game of basketball, spending a lot of my free time practicing to dribble and shoot. Throughout high school starting in Grade 9, basketball was a major extracurricular activity of mine and I played on the varsity team as well as with my friends. Since entering university and nowadays it's become a solely recreational endeavor but I can still school most one-on-one. Challengers are welcome to join my long list of defeated foes! The one thing that probably stopped me from having an NBA career is that I'm only 6 feet tall... yea and I'm not THAT good. :)

I have a few dozen jerseys of NBA legends, both past and present.

Photography

This is a relatively new hobby of mine. I purchased my first Canon DSLR recently and it's been a blast. I bring it everywhere I go and try to take shots wherever I can. Despite studying a lot of literature and YouTube academies for photographers I still have plenty to learn. I have found that experimentation is the best way to learn. Trial and error. Rinse and repeat.

Civilization IV

I haven't played video games to any considerable extent since getting out of high school but Civ IV is an exception. It's a turn-based strategy where you build a civilization as it advances through the ages managing the economic, diplomatic, cultural, political and militaristic aspects of your nation. The game is so exhilarating and yet so complex and involved that it has almost infinite re-playability to me. Every few months I come back to it little bit. It's a timeless title that even newer editions in the same series namely Civ V and Civ VI cannot even come close to.
